Where can I stay during the event?

We have a hotel room block at the Holiday Inn Express in Lacey at a discounted group rate. Our booking link is in the event description above. There are also many other hotels in the Olympia/Lacey area. Please reach out to us if you need assistance in finding a hotel room.

Where can I go between legislative appointments?

WSCADV staff will be nearby at the United Churches of Olympia's Fireside Room all day. Come join us in between your meetings to strategize, debrief, enjoy some snacks, or for a quiet place to work! Note that parking is not available at the church. Address: 110 11th Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501

Capitol Campus Visitor Parking & Information

Accessibility for Legislative Building

There are four ADA parking spots for visitors to the legislative campus on the south side of the Legislative Building. All four floors are accessible through two public elevators located on the south side of the building. Learn more here: https://leg.wa.gov/legislature/pages/adainfo.aspx

Things to Do: Capitol Tours

How can I amplify my advocacy on social media?

We encourage you to take lots of photos! You can ask your legislators to join you in a group photo when you meet with them. What should I wear to the event?

On January 22, you are welcome to wear whatever you'd like! For legislative appointments on January 23, we recommend dressing between business casual to business formal. Please keep in mind that you may be walking a lot both inside and outside, so wear comfortable shoes and layers.
